String tension
What Stringing Tension
As a general guide the better your technique the higher the string tension you should use. However this can vary depending on your playing style and preference.
In a lower string tension the ball will be in contact with the strings for a longer time frame providing more of a repulsion effect helping with power. The price you pay for this increase in power is a slight loss in feeling.
If you have no idea what string tension you should use we suggest 22lbs for an average badminton player and 52lbs for an average tennis player. Then using these tensions as a benchmark you can experiment to see how a higher or lower tension will affect your game!
